BFA Degree Show

My BFA degree show at NCAD's Harry Clark building — paintings, watercolours, photographs and a video installation, shown through the building's tiled gallery rooms.

For the exhibition I designed and built the display walls myself: seated wall sections, glass windows, shelves, and all of the wiring and lighting. The point was immersion — to bring the architecture of the display into the work, so the viewer entered the room as part of the piece rather than standing outside it. The space and the work were meant to merge.

Works included Cold Feet, Rapid Eye Movement, A Matter of Time, The Mind's Eye, Window into The Void, Táthar ag súil le saol nua, Through The Looking Glass and A Long Stretch.
