Vintage Hornby Model Train Cinematic - Unreal Engine 5 Path Tracing & Camera Workflow Exploration

This cinematic showcases a vintage Hornby model train, brought to life using Unreal Engine's Path Tracer for high-fidelity rendering. The model itself is one I originally modelled and textured some years ago, but I revisited it for this piece, refining my lighting workflows in Unreal Engine with the Movie Render Que and experimenting with cinematic camera motion, tracking, and subtle handheld shake for added realism.

After rendering, I brought the footage into DaVinci Resolve for color grading and final refinements, further fine-tuning my approach to cinematic storytelling in real-time engines. This piece is part of an ongoing effort to refine my pipeline for photo-realistic cinematics using Unreal Engine, blending my expertise in texturing, lighting, and cinematic composition with next-gen rendering techniques.
